Registration Code

Who can register for PIDC 2012?

Local Institutions

  1. A team of three (3) should be composed of debaters enrolled during the most recent semester or term before PIDC 2012 in the university/college they are representing.
  2. The N-rule (one adjudicator per registered team) applies.
  3. Each participant must pay the registration fee.
  4. Each institution/organization can send up to six teams*.
  5. Only teams from local institutions are eligible to break into the Finals Series.

*If there are available slots after Phase 1, additional teams may be accommodated.

Composite Teams

  1. Composite teams will be allowed to compete in PIDC provided that they pay the registration fee and follow the N-rule.
  2. There are no restrictions on the composition of the team (high school students, alumni, etc.).
  3. Composite teams are not eligible to break into the Finals Series.

International Teams

  1. 8 team slots for international participants will be allotted on a first come first served basis.
  2. There are no restrictions on the composition of the team.
  3. The same registration fee and N-rule applies.
  4. International teams are not eligible to break into the Finals Series.
