BLACKLISTED
The UP Debate Society brings you BLACKLISTED, a night of forbidden pleasures. Come and party sinfully to the sound of the metro's hottest DJs as you feast on free-flowing alcohol and luscious delights. Arrive fashionably in your most glamorous black outfit, April 18 at the Manor Superclub, Eastwood City. Intoxicating beats, hot fashion, fabulous people, brace yourself for the hottest college party this side of the metro--its BLACKLISTED.
Instruments of Mass Discussion
The UP Debate Society and Core TEMPO shirts usher in the Philippine Intercollegiate Debate Championship: The Philippine Daily Inquirer Cup with a night of music and mayhem, its Instruments of Mass Discussion. This jam-packed affair with Manila's hottest new acts courtesy of Sony BMG and Live Band Rock-e-oke will surely open PIDC 2009 with a bang. Participants get to jump in the fun and take to the stage to rock it out like a true rockstar in the search for the PIDC Rock-e-oke Idol and the Guitar Hero Challenge. Debaters will also be able to challenge each other's wit in a word-battle of epic proportions. Join us as we combine our weapons of choice both verbal and acoustic in form for one night of fun, havoc, and spectacle!
Early Bird Promo
PIDC 2009 Team Socials, in cooperation with John Robert Powers, is having an Early Bird Promo for all PIDC participants. Two JRP gift certificates worth Php 3,800.00 each are up for grabs each week until the end of Phase 1 Registration.
The mechanics for this promo are as follows:
- To join, simply complete Phase 1 Registration. Each institution will automatically earn one entry to this promo upon completing Phase 1 registration.
Winners will be drawn every Saturday until the last day of Phase 1 Registration on February 27, 2009.
- Winning institutions will be notified through the SMS number and email of their institution representative, using the contact details provided in the institution registration form.
- Prizes may be claimed at the registration table at PIDC 2009.
- The gift certificates may be redeemed at any John Robert Powers branch within Metro Manila.
